Nastia also accompanied Evan to the 2010 Winter Olympics where he became the first American man to win the Olympic gold medal for figure skating in 22 years.     After years of working out 7 hours a day, Nastia stopped working out completely for a brief period post-retirement in 2012 and experienced a weight gain of 20 pounds.
